Class Description:
Learn the foundations of knitting in this quick one session class! Basic skills taught include casting on, binding off, knit, purl, simple combination rib and garter stitches, measuring gauge, increasing, and decreasing. Students will make sample swatches to take home.

Materials List:
1 skein mid-weight yarn (3-4 stitches per inch), 1 pr straight or circular knitting needles (match guage to yarn), and one darning needle.
